It’s like when you first-listen to a song, and you don’t like it. When you listen to it for the *th time, you are “pushing” yourself to like it, and you finally do. And then you play it over and over again, and in the end you never wanna listen to it in your live, ever.
That’s what’s also going on with things in life. In life you’re not fooling around with just one “thing” though. There are many pleasures, addictions, happy hours, sad moments we have to separate and choose the ones we want to “play” them again.
On the one side, the bright side, life don’t last long, but goes fast. If you know how to handle it, actually lasts much longer. If we play the same cassette over and over in the end you’re not only get bored of the songs, but you also may ruin the cassette itself. So don’t go breaking your life doing the same and same things because you’re not only going to ruin your life but also get bored and waste precious time.
Play it again, only if something deserves it. Do you like to be surrounded by the same people or situations all the time? I don’t think that’s what you or anyone would want, but that’s what you or everyone is doing. People waste their time, money, feelings sharing time, money, feelings with people, situation,relationships that don’t, or can’t, support anymore. It is your cassette, play it only if you like to listen to it. If you don’t then press pause, fast forward it, rewind it or stop it. You can re-write it again to the songs YOU want it to play. The songs YOU wanna listen.
On the other hand, there are many kind of songs in that cassette you chose to play. Each song represent moments of your life, moments you either felt nice or not. Moments of everyday life or moments that branded your life forever. Moments everyone carry with them whether they like or not. If you choose to re-write the cassette just be careful of the things you are going to erase cause you cannot recover them again. You know what it’s like. It feels like when you did something and after a period of time you wish you could go back there and fix (bring back) things you did and you erase.
